  • CSCTABF–001 - Air Blown Fibre (ABF) Installation
    Aim - This competency based craft skills certification training is intended to ensure that all staff are aware of the requirements and have the necessary practical skills to correctly supervise the installation of fibre using the Air Blown Fibre (ABF) technique, inside buildings. All staff who undertake supervision of contractors undertaking ABF installation works are required to be certified to ensure that quality of workmanship is improved.
    Who should attend - This course is intended for all staff who supervise contractors undertaking ABF installation works inside buildings.
  • CSCTCJ-001 Fibre Optics Cable Jointing
    Aim - This competency based craft skills certification training is intended to ensure that all staff are aware of the requirements and have the necessary practical skills to correctly supervise the jointing and closure of fibre optics cables. All staff who undertake supervision of contractors undertaking cable jointing closure work are required to be certified to ensure that quality of workmanship is improved.
    Who should attend - This course is intended for all staff who supervise contractors undertaking cable jointing closure work in sub-stations and manholes.
  • CSCTFOT-001 - Fibre Optic Testing
    Aim - This competency based craft skills certification training is intended to ensure that all staff are aware of the requirements and have the necessary practical skills to correctly test fibre optic cables. All staff who undertake this type of work are required to be certified to ensure that quality of workmanship is improved.
    Who should attend - This course is intended for all staff who perform acceptance testing of fibre optic cable systems.
  • CSCTFS-001 - Fibre Optics Splicing
    Aim - This competency based craft skills certification training is intended to ensure that all staff are aware of the requirements and have the necessary practical skills to correctly supervise the splicing of fibre cables by contractors. All staff who undertake supervision of contractors undertaking fibre splicing work are required to be certified to ensure that quality of workmanship is improved.
    Who should attend - This course is intended for all staff who supervise contractors undertaking fibre splicing at terminations on FDFs and fibre splicing positions.
  • CSCTFS-002 - Fibre Optics Ribbon Splicing
    Aim - This competency based craft skills certification training is intended to ensure that all staff are aware of the requirements and have the necessary practical skills to correctly supervise the splicing of ribbon fibre cables by contractors. All staff who undertake supervision of contractors undertaking fibre splicing work are required to be certified to ensure that quality of workmanship is improved.
    Who should attend - This course is intended for all staff who supervise contractors undertaking ribbon fibre splicing at terminations on FDFs and fibre splicing positions.
  • CSCTJP-001 - Jumpering and Patching on FDFs, DDFs and MDFs
    Aim - This competency based craft skills certification training is intended to ensure that all staff are aware of the requirements and have the necessary practical skills to correctly jumper and patch circuits on an Optical Fibre Distribution Frame (FDF), Digital Distribution Frame (DDF) and Main Distribution Frame (MDF). All staff who undertake this type of work are required to be certified to ensure that quality of workmanship is improved.
    Who should attend - This course is intended for all staff who perform jumpering and patching on FDFs, DDFs and MDFs as part of their duties.
  • CSCTJP-002 - Jumpering and Patching on MDFs
    Aim - This competency based craft skills certification training is intended to ensure that all staff are aware of the requirements and have the necessary practical skills to correctly jumper and patch circuits on an Main Distribution Frame (MDF). All staff who undertake this type of work are required to be certified to ensure that quality of workmanship is improved.
    Who should attend - This course is intended for all staff who perform jumpering and patching on MDFs as part of their duties.
  • CSCTJP-003 - Jumpering and Patching on DDFs
    Aim - This competency based craft skills certification training is intended to ensure that all staff are aware of the requirements and have the necessary practical skills to correctly jumper and patch circuits on a Digital Distribution Frame (DDF). All staff who undertake this type of work are required to be certified to ensure that quality of workmanship is improved.

  • CSCTJP-004 - Jumpering and Patching on FDFs
    Aim - This competency based craft skills certification training is intended to ensure that all staff are aware of the requirements and have the necessary practical skills to correctly jumper and patch circuits on an Optical Fibre Distribution Frame (FDF).   • TOHSC-014C - Working on Monopoles, Guyed Masts and Towers
    Aim - This course is intended for annual certification/refresher training of staff, who have previously attended a tower climbing course. The course will ensure that the staff have the correct awareness of the importance of safety, for persons working on monopoles, guyed masts and towers and associated activities to ensure their own safety and the safety of the general public, fellow workers, plant, assets and equipment.
    Who should attend - This course is intended for personnel, who are required to work on monopoles, guyed masts and towers or supervise contractors, in the course of their duties.
