FOTC-005 Advanced Fibre Optic Jointing, Termination, Testing and Maintenance Repair

Aim - This course is intended to provide the trainee with a working understanding of installing splice closures and termination of fibre optic cables on an Optical Fibre Distribution Frame (OFDF), and testing fibre optic cables during and after construction.
This course is also intended to provide the trainee with a working understanding of the maintenance repair of a fibre optic cables system, which have been damaged.
Who should attend - This course is intended for personnel, who supervise or actually need to joint fibre optic cables and terminate on OFDF’s, test cables and who are directly involved with maintenance repairs of fibre optic cable systems.
