ESOC-002 Introduction to eHealth And TeleMedicine

Aim - This one day Learning event, sets-out to teach the basics of eHealth and how eHealth is an important part of eGovernment, in a methodical, straight forward and easy to understand way. Understand why enlightened Governments of the world are introducing eHealth as part of their eGovernment initiatives. Understand how eHealth can enhance the capacity of people to access and utilize eHealth resources. How citizens can improve the state of knowledge and public understanding of eHealth-related issues and play an active role in improving the quality and effectiveness of eHealth resources.
Who should attend - The course is intended for all, who need to have an understanding of how eHealth is being implemented and forms part of eGovernment and the larger picture of how eHealth fits into the world stage. The course is therefore ideal for all Government employees who are about to go through the Change Management Process initiated by implementing eHealth as part of the eGovernment initiative and will make sure that everyone has the same viewpoint and direction in this initiative.
