• TOHSC-001 Introduction to Occupational Health & Safety in Telecommunications

• TOHSC-002 Introduction to Safety for Network Engineers
  Aim - The aim of this course is to provide the trainee with a basic understanding of Occupational Health and Safety and how to implement safety in the workplace, when undertaking network installation, construction and operation and maintenance duties.
  Who should attend - The course is intended for all telecommunications network installation, construction and operation and maintenance personnel, who are required to work in the field and are exposed to occupational health and safety hazards, where a knowledge of safe working practices is required.
• TOHSC-003 Outside Plant Staff Safety
  Aim - This course is intended to provide an understanding and create an awareness of all aspects of safety for persons engaged on Outside Plant Network Construction and associated activities to ensure the safety of the general public, staff, plant and equipment.
  Who should attend - This course is intended for personnel, who are involved with the direct construction or supervision of the external fixed networks.
• TOHSC-004 Personal Protection Equipment (PPE)
  Aim - This course is intended to provide an understanding and create an awareness of the importance of proper Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) and associated activities to ensure the safety of personnel and the general public.
  Who should attend - This course is intended for personnel, who are involved with the direct construction or supervision of the external fixed networks.
• TOHSC-005 Gas Testing
  Aim - This course is intended to provide the trainee with a good understanding of the need for gas testing in outside plant, building entries, cabins and other enclosed spaces, where fixed copper, fibre and HFC/CATV networks are being constructed.
  Who should attend - This course is intended for personnel, who need to access underground plant and other structures, and who are required to have knowledge of gas safety.
• TOHSC-006 Working in Confined Space
  Aim - This course is intended to provide an understanding and create an awareness of the importance of safety for persons working in confined spaces and associated activities to ensure the safety of staff and the general public.

• TOHSC-013 Radiation Safety
  Aim - The aim of this course is to provide the trainee with a basic understanding of Radiation Safety and safe working in close proximity to transmit antennas.
  Who should attend - The course is intended for all personnel, who are required to work on towers, guyed masts, monopoles and rooftops, where it is necessary to work in close proximity to transmit antennas.
