Aim - This course is intended to provide the trainee with a working knowledge of the installation of Fibre Optic Cable, Long Length Cabling and Blowing techniques.
Who should attend - This course is intended for personnel, who wish to gain an understanding of the installation of Fibre Optic Cable, Long Length Cabling and Blowing Techniques. - FOTC-002 Fibre Optics Jointing, Testing and Commissioning
Aim - This course is intended to provide the trainee with a working knowledge of the basic principles of fibre optics technology and the methods of splicing, testing and commissioning of fibre optic cable systems.
Who should attend - This course is intended for personnel, who wish to gain an understanding of fibre optics technology, and 'hands-on' expertise of fibre splicing, testing and commissioning. - FOTC-003 Fibre Optics Testing
Aim - This course is intended to provide the trainee with a working understanding of testing fibre optic cables during and after construction, and also how to supervise contractors undertaking testing works and checking submitted results.
Who should attend - This course is intended for personnel, who supervise or actually need to joint fibre optic cable and terminate on OFDF’s, test cables and who are directly involved with the maintenance of fibre optic cable systems. - FOTC-004 Air Blown Fibre Installation
Aim - This course is intended to provide the trainee with a working knowledge of air blown fibre installation techniques.
Who should attend - This course is intended for personnel, who wish to gain an understanding of the planning of air blown fibre and installation techniques. - FOTC-004A Air Blown Fibre Installation Overview
Aim - This course is intended to provide the trainee with a working knowledge of air blown fibre installation techniques and an understanding of the key points to be able to supervise contractors undertaking this type of work.
Who should attend - This course is intended for personnel, who wish to gain an understanding and overview of the planning of air blown fibre and installation techniques. - FOTC-005 Advanced Fibre Optic Jointing, Termination, Testing and Maintenance Repair
Aim - This course is intended to provide the trainee with a working understanding of installing splice closures and termination of fibre optic cables on an Optical Fibre Distribution Frame (OFDF), and testing fibre optic cables during and after construction. This course is also intended to provide the trainee with a working understanding of the maintenance repair of a fibre optic cables system, which have been damaged.

Aim - This course is intended to provide the trainee with a working knowledge of Optical Fibre Node Unit (ONU) installation, testing and commissioning.
Who should attend - This course is intended for personnel, who wish to gain an understanding of Optical Fibre Node Unit (ONU) installation, testing and commissioning. - FOTC-007 Fibre Optics Installation for Power Authorities
Aim - This course is intended to provide the trainee with a working knowledge of fibre optics installation, testing and commissioning for use by power authorities, on power lines.
Who should attend - This course is intended for personnel, who wish to gain an understanding of the planning and design of fibre optic cable system for use by power authorities and 'hands-on' expertise of fibre optics installation, testing and commissioning. - FOTC-008 Fibre Optics Installation for Railway Authorities
Aim - This course is intended to provide the trainee with a working knowledge of fibre optics installation, testing and commissioning for use by railway authorities, alongside rail tracks.
Who should attend - This course is intended for personnel, who wish to gain an understanding of the planning and design of fibre optic cable system for use by railway authorities and 'hands-on' expertise of fibre optics installation, testing and commissioning. - FOTC-009 Fibre Optics Installation for Highway Authorities
Aim - This course is intended to provide the trainee with a working knowledge of fibre optics installation, testing and commissioning for use by highway authorities, alongside highways.
Who should attend - This course is intended for personnel, who wish to gain an understanding of the planning and design of fibre optic cable system for use by highway authorities and 'hands-on' expertise of fibre optics installation, testing and commissioning. - FOTC-010 Local Area Network (LAN) Fibre Termination, Testing, Maintenance and Trouble Shooting
Aim - This course is intended to provide the trainees with a working knowledge of the basic principles and practice of fibre termination, testing, maintenance and trouble shooting of Local Area Networks (LANs) using fibre backbones.
Who should attend - This course is intended for trainees, who will supervise contractors installing a Local Area Network (LAN) fibre backbone and who will subsequently be responsible for the maintenance and troubleshooting of the installed LAN. - FOTC-011 Fibre Splice Closure Jointing
Aim - This course is intended to provide the trainee with a working knowledge of how to splice cables and close using a splice closure and to supervise contractors undertaking this type of work.
Who should attend - This course is intended for personnel, who wish to gain an understanding of fibre cable jointing and splice closure techniques.
