- TIMC-001 Cablephone Installation
Aim - This course is intended to provide the trainee with a working knowledge of cablephone installation methods and techniques.
Who should attend - The course is intended for personnel, who, in the course of their duties, need to understand how cablephone is installed in the customer’s premises and how the service is tested and commissioned. - TIMC-002 Cablephone Installation for Contractors
Aim - This course is intended to provide the trainee with a working knowledge of cablephone installation methods and techniques.
Who should attend - The course is intended for contractors, who will be awarded works to install, test and commission cablephones and Engineers who are responsible for certifying works done by their company, prior to hand-over. - TIMC-003 Installation and Maintenance of Fixed Copper Networks
Aim - This course is intended to provide the trainee with a working knowledge of fixed copper networks installation methods and techniques.
Who should attend - The course is intended for personnel, who, in the course of their duties, need to understand the installation and maintenance of fixed copper networks in the customer’s premises and how the service is tested and commissioned. - TIMC-004 Installation and Maintenance of Fibre Cable Networks
Aim - This course is intended to provide the trainee with a working knowledge of fibre cable networks installation methods and techniques.
Who should attend - The course is intended for personnel, who, in the course of their duties, need to understand the installation and maintenance of fibre cable networks in the customer’s premises and how the service is tested and commissioned. - TIMC-005 Installation and Maintenance of CATV Service in HFC Networks
Aim-This course is intended to provide the trainee with a working knowledge of the installation and maintenance of CATV service utilising HFC networks. The course is designed to have a strong practical emphasis.
Who should attend-This course is intended for installation and maintenance technicians, who are required to install, test, detect and correct customer service problems. - TIMC-006 Fibre Network Cable Maintenance
Aim - This course is intended to provide the trainee with a working knowledge of the maintenance of fibre network cable systems.
Who should attend - This course is intended for trainees, who, in their day to day work, are required to maintain, locate and rectify faults which arise in the fibre cable network. - TIMC-007 Fixed Network Cable Maintenance
Aim - This course is intended to provide the trainee with a working knowledge of the maintenance of fixed network, copper cable systems.
Who should attend - This course is intended for trainees, who, in their day to day work, are required to maintain, locate and rectify faults which arise in the fixed copper cable network. - TIMC-008 CATV/HFC Network Cable Maintenance
Aim - This course is intended to provide the trainee with a working knowledge of the maintenance of CATV/HFC cable systems.
Who should attend - This course is intended for trainees, who, in their day to day work, are required to maintain, locate and rectify faults which arise in the CATV/HFC fixed cable network. - TIMC-009 Customer's Premises Wiring and Installation
Aim - This course is intended to provide the trainee with a basic knowledge of how to install, commission and test customer’s premises wiring for voice and data applications in customer’s premises.
Who should attend - The course is intended for Field-Engineers, who will be responsible for the planning, installation, commissioning and testing of the above and Engineers who are responsible for accepting works from contractors who are installing cabling. - TIMC-010 Customer's Premises Wiring for Sub-Contractor Registration
Aim - This course is intended to provide the trainee with a basic knowledge of how to install, commission and test customer’s premises wiring for voice and data applications in customer’s premises.
Who should attend - The course is intended for sub-contractors, who will be awarded works to install, commission and test cabling being installed and Engineers who are responsible for certifying works done by their company, prior to hand-over. - TIMC-011 Structured Wiring and Cabling for Computer Networks and Voice Services
Aim - This course is intended to provide the trainee with an understanding of the basic principles of structured wiring and cabling systems for computer networks and voice services, within new and existing buildings. The course content is designed to inform trainees about specifications and standards currently applicable and developments in this field, as well as the practical aspects of construction and design of structured cabling and wiring system.
Who should attend - This course is intended for trainees, who are required to design, plan, install or supervise structured wiring and cabling works. - TIMC-012 Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN) Installation and Maintenance
Aim - This course is intended to provide the trainee with a working knowledge of Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN) installation methods and techniques.
Who should attend - The course is intended for personnel, who, in the course of their duties, need to understand the installation and maintenance of ISDN in the customer’s premises and how the service is tested and commissioned. - TIMC-013 Digital Subscriber Line (DSL) Installation and Maintenance
