"Mobile Phone Safety" Talk:"The Starhub Awareness" Workshop
TELECONSULT is proud to be a partner in organising the first "StarHub Awareness Workshop" organised by StarHub Awareness Workshop Committee at the Singapore International Convention & Exhibition Centre, Suntec City, on 26th April 2002. Our CEO, Lord John E. Shazell, was invited to talk about the iDA Act/Telecommunications Act 1999 and how Building Managers and Developers and Service Providers are affected by this Act and also to brief the Seminar on Telecommunications and emerging trends in the industry.
The objectives of the workshop were:
- To provide the building Managers and their top management with the awareness of StarHub
- The role of StarHub in the Telecommunications Industry in Singapore
- The introduction of iDA Act/Telecommunications Act 1999 and the legal requirements
The workshop has also provided an opportunity for the participants to understand StarHub's requests for facilities and the requirements to accommodate equipment in their premises, in order for StarHub to provide better services to their customers.
