    Aim - This course is intended to provide the trainee with a basic understanding of how Switching Centres are planned and located during the network planning stage.
    Who should attend - The course is intended for trainees, who are engaged on the planning and design of networks and who need to know how a Switching Centre is located.
  • TNPDC-003 Telecommunications Network Planning Design
    Aim - This course is intended to provide the trainee with a basic knowledge of how to plan and design a PSTN telecommunication network, based upon a demand forecast. The course covers both the civil and cabling aspects and some understanding of network construction techniques and methods, would be an advantage.
    Who should attend - The course is intended for trainees, who need to understand how telecommunications networks are planned and how to interpret demand forecast information and to transform this information into a Fundamental Plan and a detailed design for civil works and cabling requirements.

    Aim - This course is intended to provide the trainee with a working knowledge how to plan a Hybrid Fibre Coaxial (HFC) cable system from the Head End to the customer’s premises. The course involves both civil works and cable works planning aspects.
    Who should attend - This course is intended for planning and design personnel, who are directly involved with the planning and design of HFC cable networks.
  • TNPDC-007 Fibre Optics Trunk Network Planning and Design
    Aim - This course is intended to provide the trainee with a working knowledge of how to plan a Fibre Optic Trunk network cable system in a HCF network application from the Head End to the Fibre Node. The course involves both civil works and cable planning aspects.
